Publishing to the Launcher

The Launcher gives end users a quick way to find and open deployed apps and Excel add-ins. As an administrator, you control what appears there.

Making Apps Available

To make an app or Excel add-in visible in the Launcher:

  1. Deploy the app using the Python SDK or CLI (see Apps).
  2. Navigate to Compute Processes > Apps (or Excel Add-ins).
  3. Toggle the switch on the left of the app row to enable it.
  4. Ensure the target users or groups have the appropriate permissions.

Once enabled, the app will appear in the Launcher for all users with access.

Removing Apps from the Launcher

To hide an app from the Launcher without deleting it, toggle the switch off in the Compute Processes view. The app will no longer appear in the Launcher but its definition and logs are preserved.
