Launcher
The Launcher is a quick-access page for finding and opening deployed apps and Excel add-ins. It is designed for end users who need to use apps without navigating the full Compute Processes view.
How It Works
Open the Launcher from the left sidebar by clicking the Launcher icon. You will see all apps and Excel add-ins that are currently enabled and that you have permission to access, organized by group.
Use the tabs at the top to filter by Apps or Excel Add-ins, and the search bar to find a specific item by name.
Click on any card to open the app or Excel add-in directly.
What Appears in the Launcher
An app or Excel add-in appears in the Launcher when:
- It has been deployed to the platform (via the Python SDK or CLI).
- It is enabled — an admin or the owner has toggled it on in the Compute Processes view.
- The current user has permission to access it.
If the Launcher is empty, it means no apps or add-ins have been published yet, or you do not have access to any. Contact your administrator to get started. See Publishing to the Launcher for admin instructions.
