Quickstart for End-Users

To get started as a Datatailr user –

1. Before you can access Datatailr, a Datatailr admin must define your access permissions.

2. You can then launch Datatailr, as described in Launching Datatailr. Use the URL in a standard browser to log in using a password that you have been provided. It is recommended to use Chrome, but you can also use other modern web browser versions, such as Safari and Firefox. Something similar to the following might be displayed, showing an icon for each app that was assigned to you –

   

Note – If you’re not also a Datatailr admin or a developer, then the Admin and Dev app groups don’t appear in this window.

3. Simply click a runnable icon to launch it. Alternatively, you can also right-click on an icon to launch the app in a new browser window or a new tab of the same browser –

   

4. To search for a specific runnable, you can use the "Search" field in the top right corner of the window.
